Paula Isenbarg has spent a lifetime loving and being amazed by
the animals around her. In 1994 she began expressing her deep
empathy and love for animals in her artwork under the name of Paula
Bruner (pbruner).
In 1996 her artwork was featured on the cover of the German
Shepherd Dog Club of America's 'Artists To The Rescue'
Calendar. All proceeds went to benefit the rescue of German
Shepherds nationally. Additionally, her art has been featured
on the cover of the German Shepherd Times as well as local
newspapers and the websites of top breeders.
A supporter of breed rescue programs she has donated not only her
time, but her artwork to assist in their support and aid.
Please take a moment to peruse the examples of her artwork.
Although you will see many German Shepherd Dogs featured on this
site, Paula does portraiture of all breeds of dogs in her
work. If you are interested in having a custom portrait done
of the four-footed light of your life, or in obtaining any of the
limited edition prints, textiles or stationary, please contact Paula
by e-mail.
